Our Review- We received our Safety Latch Starter Kit a few weeks ago. I have 2 toddlers, and they are constantly trying to get into everything. The under drawer/counter latch (left on the picture below) worked great to keep them out.
My toddlers do not give up, they will keep tugging at it, and trying to figure it out. Unfortunately the larger latch (right on the picture below) that is secured around the knobs of a cupboard, did not work for my little ones. It did keep them out for about a week, but then they became determined and were able to figure out how to unlock it.
If you have determined little one's like I do, I do not recommend this latch. If your child is more passive this may work for you. Since the larger latch is out in the open it is seen and curious little minds like to try and figure it out. The smaller latches are not seen when secured correctly, which helps deter the little ones.
After receiving and testing the latches, I did end up buying a few more of the smaller latches. My children have yet to break into those.
